X-site
From September 2008 X-site is the new name for St Thomas’ Sunday morning children’s work. Why the name? Because when children meet together with Jesus their impact will spread!
Practical Arrangements
We really want to help our children to develop their spiritual lives and gifts so we start off with an ‘all together’ in the meeting room. This is a time of lively praise and prayer. Then we break off into smaller groups.
Age Groups
Two and a half to 6 years, lead by Mel Barnes and Pauline Barnsley.
Seven to nine years lead by Dawn Edingborough and Ruth Bird.
Ten plus lead by Gemma Machin and Kat Witham.
We want our children to be happy and eager to participate so the age groups are a rough guide and we are flexible so children can stay in their own friendship groups.
All Age Services
On the first Sunday of each month the 11am service is an ‘All Age Service’. The children stay in church for a family friendly service held in a relaxed and informal setting.
